In the years since, the business has grown, with Richard’s son Max Clothier joining the company and bringing fresh energy and a shared commitment to continuing the family legacy. Managing Director

As the founding director of Clothier Construction, Richard brings decades of hands-on building experience and a deep passion for quality craftsmanship. Since establishing the company in 2015, he has combined his practical knowledge with strong leadership to guide projects from concept through to completion. As Project Manager, Richard is known for his calm, reliable approach, clear communication, and commitment to getting every detail right. His focus is simple — ensuring clients enjoy a smooth, stress-free building experience while delivering results they can be proud of.

Max Clothier

Operations Manager

Max joined the Clothier Construction Team in 2018, bringing with him a wealth of experience and fresh perspective. As Operations Manager, Max combines practical building skills with a genuine passion for helping clients bring their vision to life. From new builds to extensions and home makeovers, he thrives on transforming ideas into reality with strong attention to detail and a focus on quality workmanship. Max believes that great building starts with great communication, and he’s dedicated to making the process smooth, collaborative, and enjoyable for every client.

Planning and Design

Sally is the creative force behind Clothier Construction’s design services, helping clients shape their ideas into beautiful, practical homes. With a talent for listening and interpreting each client’s lifestyle and needs, she creates designs that are both stylish and functional. From initial sketches through to council-ready plans, Sally guides clients through the design journey with clarity and care. As Richard’s partner, she shares the same commitment to honesty, detail, and community values that Clothier Construction was built on. Her goal is simple — to design homes that feel welcoming, timeless, and uniquely yours.

Ashley Albright

Plasterer

Ash heads up Clothier Construction’s Plastering Division, bringing years of specialist trade experience and a reputation for precision. Known for his sharp eye and high standards, Ash ensures every wall and ceiling is finished flawlessly. He understands that plastering isn’t just about looks — it’s about creating durable, lasting finishes that form the foundation of every great build. Under his leadership, the plastering team delivers consistent quality and reliable results, giving clients confidence in the final product.
